Board Membership

The Monterey County Rape Crisis Center (MCRCC) seeks enthusiastic individuals to join its Board of Directors. Ideal candidates are dedicated to MCRCC’s mission of supporting survivors and preventing sexual violence. Board members are expected to serve on one standing committee and attend monthly meetings on the third Wednesday of the month from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM.

Board member responsibilities include attending one to three sessions of the 47-hour Sexual Assault Counselor training (offered two to three times annually), training graduations, board retreats, and special events.

MCRCC is particularly interested in candidates who are eager to participate in fundraising and contribute their skills and passion to advancing the organization’s mission. We encourage applications from individuals with diverse backgrounds in ethnicity, gender, income level, age, occupation, and profession.
