Fall Advocate Training

MCRCC’s Fall Advocate Training is an essential opportunity for community members who want to make a direct impact in the lives of survivors. This state-certified training prepares volunteers to become Certified Sexual Assault Counselors, equipped to provide crisis support, advocacy, and accompaniment services. The training covers key topics such as trauma-informed care, cultural humility, legal and medical advocacy, and active listening skills. Offered in a hybrid format, the training combines in-person sessions with online learning to accommodate different schedules and learning styles. Completion of this training is required for all MCRCC staff and volunteers before providing advocacy services.
