We are implementing an adjustment to our services.
Due to the current strain of coronavirus, COVID-19, and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention's guidelines requiring “prudent social distancing.” The Monterey County Rape Crisis Center (MCRCC) will be closing its offices as of March 16, 2020 and reopen when it is safe and responsible to do so.
Though our offices are temporarily closed, MCRCC remains committed to our mission to provide ongoing advocacy, support and healing for all victims and survivors of sexual assault, human trafficking and child abuse; and to prevent sexual violence in our community through education.
Our business phone lines and 24-hour helpline are open and available for the community, survivors and significant others to call.
Our Sexual Assault Counselors are available for support during Sexual Assault Forensic Exams.
Our therapists are conducting individual counseling sessions via a secure teletherapy platform called doxy.
Our prevention and community engagement work continues on our website mtryrapecrisis.org and our social media accounts (facebook and instagram).
Please don’t hesitate to call our helpline via phone (831) 375-4357 or email firstname.lastname@example.org if you need assistance.
