The Monterey County Rape Crisis Center (MCRCC) is a nonprofit
agency whose mission is to advocate for all victims and survivors
of
sexual assault and child sexual abuse, to prevent sexual violence
in our community through education, and to provide ongoing support
and healing to survivors of sexual assault.

Why? 100% of the proceeds benefit the Monterey County Rape Crisis Center’s services for sexual assault/abuse survivors and prevention education programs.
Where? Lovers’ Point Park, Pacific Grove, CA
Corner of Ocean View Blvd & Forest Ave. On-street parking available. The course is looped, mostly flat, along the beautiful Asilomar coastline on the Monterey Peninsula. For a .pdf map of the course click here.
How Much? 10K and 5K: $33 until 1/31/12 and then $38 through race day.
1K Kids’ Fun Run: $12 until 1/31/12 and then $15 through race day.
Fees are non-refundable.

What’s included?
All participants are eligible for a prize drawing and refreshments (must be present to win). For the third year all 5K and 10K participants receive a long-sleeved performance safety t-shirt + chipped, timed results included in the registration fee. Both courses are TAC/USA Certified. Divisions for the 10K and 5K include: 8 and under, 9-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and above. Awards are 3 deep. Run with a partner (10K only) for a chance to win in the pairs category
This is the 8th year for the 1K Kids’ fun run for kids age 10 and under. Each child crossing the finish line will receive a medal and goody bag. T-SHIRT NOT INCLUDED but can be purchased on race day.
